Release the kraken!

Check out the picture book illustrations I'm currently working on under Stuff I'm Creating! I've always been fascinated by really big squid, but especially lately. I recently finished writing a manuscript for a client that includes a colossal squid (slated for release fall of 2015 - sign-up for the newsletter or keep an eye on this website for exact date), and the squid just stuck in my head and wouldn't let go. So I wrote a picture book manuscript to get it out and onto paper, and started drawing some character ideas for a kraken, like the one below.
